Breastfeeding is really hard but super worth the effort. Do not hesitate to ask for help in the event you feel defeated. Ask a friend to help you cook delicious healthy meals if you are too tired to do so yourself; ask your lactation consultant to give you a visit and assess your breastfeeding process. Look for breastfeeding courses online. You are a mother now and everyone wants to help you raise that bundle of joy you got.
While technology now allows moms to delegate feeding duties to someone else, it is important to maintain cleanliness in how you handle breast milk equipment. Think clean hands, surfaces, towels, baby bottles and so on. Go ‘OCD’ if you have to– you don’t want your baby having a diarrhoea because of poor hygiene.
I won’t tell you to stop being anxious. I will tell you to know how to manage your anxiety. Speak life and abundance to your family. Happy mother, happy baby.
